G-3 paint and inner frame

I did some painting, can you guess which parts they are?

In case you can't tell, they are the eyes, the camera lenses, and the vulcans.

These are the markers I used to paint these.

I used from left to right, an old silver paint marker, a yellow Gundam marker, a yellow Sharpie, a blue Sharpie, and a black Gundam lining marker.

For the camera lenses, I used the silver marker and the blue Sharpie.

Here is how I did it. First, I went over it with the silver. (this is obviously post-painting so I had to settle with a clear sprue.)

Then, after it dried, I went over it with the Sharpie.

The end result is a nice metallic blue.

I did the same thing for the eyes of the Gundam, except with yellow.

Then, I went around it with the lining marker.

The vulcans were painted with the yellow paint marker.

It is really nice of Bandai to mold them seperately so that you can paint them if you want to.

Now for some pictures!

Just doodling...

Generic action pose!
"Firing Vulcans!"

Lethal...
